And The Miss Universe Winner Is…

Miss Japan, Riyo Mori,was crowned Miss Universe 2007 this past sunday night. The 20 year old Mori, who has been a lifelong ballet dancer, was the 56th winner of the title and was given her $250,000 diamond and pearl crown by last year’s winner, Zuleyka Rivera of Puerto Rico. A large live audience was eagerly waiting to see who was crownded. The numbers show 10,000 and some 600 million television viewers worldwide. When asked what she felt when she heard her name and what she would do now after winning, Mori had this to say:
My mind went blank…I don’t want to be acting. I just want to be myself, always be natural.
The contestants were all ravishing especially, Puja Gupta, Miss India. It’s a shame she didn’t win. Here are pictures of the many beauties from all around the world:
