Who doesn’t love Madhuri Dixit? I know for a fact that she has a huge fan following, to this day, despite being MIA since 2002. It is my pleasure, therefore, to present the first teaser of ‘Aaja Nachle’, Madhuri’s much awaited comeback movie under the Yash Raj banner. It is directed by Anil Mehta who has previously worked as a cinematographer on films such as ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’ and ‘Veer Zaara’.
But who cares about that.

Shah Rukh Khan’s soon to be released film, Chak De India, the movie which has Shah Rukh as the head coach of India’s women’s hockey team, is now under major scrutiny. The Women Hockey Association of India has threatened to take serious action if the Yash Raj film portrays the players and association in demeaning way. The association has demanded a screening of the movie, so they may decide if there is anything that must be edited before the release. President of the Women’s Hockey Association of India Vidya Stoke stated:
We want to see the film before its release. Couple of years ago, when the movie was in the planning stage, Yash Chopra sought help from us. We were more than happy to help them thinking that it would create awareness about the sport in the country. They took a lot of inputs from us and it has helped them big time in making the movie. It’s only fair that we get to see it before the release.
We’ll have to see if any more flames arise from this possible inferno. We’ll keep you updated!
The Apne Premiere held at Cinema, Versova on Thursday evening was a star-studded event. It was filled with many of the big names of Bollywood. Apne is Anil Sharma’s latest release. Among those on hand included: Shamita Shetty, Shilpa Shetty, Preity Zinta, Karan Johar, Anil Kapoor, Yash Chopra, Akshay Kumar, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Kangana Ranaut, Kareena Kapoor, Sonali Bendre, and Twinkle Khanna.
Jet Airways hosted a tour of their new airplane design. They invited special guest celebs to check out the sneak preview and of those invited were: Shushmita Sen, Anil Kapoor, and Yash Chopra. Here are some of the pics:
