Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty received the 10th annual Rajiv Gandhi Award in the best actors’ category. Union Energy minister Sushil Kumar Shinde conferred the honor on them. Viveik Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani, Tanushree Dutta, Isha Sharvani, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Koena Mitra, looking strangely like a man, were among those who regaled the audiences with their performances. Suresh Oberoi, Anupam Kher, and Kapil Dev was also present and gave away awards at the ceremony.

Abhishek Bachchan has agreed to work with Vivek Oberoi, the former lover of Aishwarya Rai, in Apoorva Lakhia’s upcoming project Mission Istanbul. Vivek Oberoi wasn’t invited to the Abhi-Ash wedding. It is also been said that Abhishek and Vivek are not on very good terms and avoid any interactions. The producer of the movie, Suniel Shetty, is not too concerned and had this to say:

Why should they have a problem? Abhishek is a thorough professional. He has no problem with anybody. Yes, they do have scenes together in Mission Istanbul. And I am sure they’ll do them splendidly. It’s very unfair to bring in personal matters to question their professionalism. The script is still being worked out. Neither Abhishek nor Vivek have expressed any misgivings about working together. There is unnecessary speculation.

It’ll be interesting to see how things work out and if any names mysteriously drop out of the bill. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Shahid Kapoor was with with his girlfriend Kareena Kapoor to watch a celeb viewing of the Ahmed Khan film Fool N Final. Everyone from the cast and crew were present, but Viveik Oberoi was late and had to rush to make it in time to see the film. Vidya Malvade and Ashmit Patel were seen chatting and acting cozy together the whole time at the event. Here are some pictures:

Kim Sharma has officially split with Yuvraj Singh after their relationship of four years. It is mainly due to Yuvraj’s mother disapproving Kim’s dress and over exposure in films.  Apparently she never even really liked Kim because she wanted a simple girl instead of a movie star. Kim is heartbroken but Yuvraj even does not take her calls on phone. A source had this to say:

Kim and Yuvraj have broken up. Yuvraj’s mother was not in favour of the relationship. For the last two years, there have been problems on that front. Yuvraj has finally given in to pressure from his mother. Now things have become so bad that Yuvraj has been avoiding Kim for a month.

This is all the alleged but who knows the real deal. Perhaps they broke with the recent gossip of Kim being seen around with Viveik Oberoi.

It has been said that Kim and Viveik are now an official item. They have been spotted together frequently, neither concerned about exposing their love to the media. They were seen on a flight to Delhi, holding and cuddling with each other in a very “couple-like” fashion. These two have a past relationship that it looks like they have rekindled. Even though Kim is still involved with Yuvraj Singh, perhaps their relationship is on the rocks. We’ll keep you updated on details as soon as we find out.
