When Mallika Sherawat is at the beauty parlor getting all dolled up, her stylist seats her away from the regular crowd and within the pantry located in the back of the parlor. Mallika isn’t fond of the groping stares and hysteria, from men and women alike, which begin as soon she sets foot in the parlor. She doesn’t want the extra attention and prefers being taken care of in private. Her stylist Dilshad commented,

Yes, it is true that we actually style her hair inside the pantry. It is only to avoid the crowd that is usual scene at our salon…. Mallika’s presence generally puts everyone in a tizzy. When Shah Rukh Khan or Preity Zinta comes to the salon, people do check them out too, but with Mallika it is something else. Men and women alike stare at her. However, as a person she is very chilled out, and I wish there were more celeb customers like her.

We all know Mallika isn’t fond of the public’s presence in her every day life. She was recently spotted at an airport covered in a burkha so no one would know it was her. Too bad she even fooled airport authorities who had stopped her to make sure she was really Mallika.

Our comments to Mallika: You should enjoy it Mallika, because when you’re old, wrinkled, and well forgotten, no one will care anymore.

Mallika Sherawat is turning into a Bollywood producer. She has started by opening a production company called Blue Velvet. She and her brother Vikram have now opened Blue Velvet producing company and currently Mallika is looking at over fifty scripts to start things up right away. Here’s what a source had to say:

Mallika has launched her banner Blue Velvet and is currently reading piles of scripts that she has received. She intends to support projects that she believes in. Many filmmakers have dropped their scripts at her office and from what we hear; up to fifty scripts are being scanned right now. Her brother Vikram will be looking at the financial aspects of the firm.

We wonder how she will do. She has all the connections and if not yet, she can surely seduce some more.

 

Vadodara court has been upset with the lack of information that the police department has been able to dig up on an incident involving Mallika Sherawat and the owner of Mumbai’s J.W. Marriot Hotel. Allegedly, Mallika performed a very ‘obscene’ dance performance last New Year’s Eve.

The instigator behind the investigation is Petitioner and President of Baroda Bar Association, Narendra Tiwari, who had filed the complaint with the court two weeks after the incident. He cites  an offence under section 8 of the Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act. Tiwari also claims that Mallika was paid Rs 50 Lakh for her crude dancing.

The hearing has been pushed back to July 29 and everyone is awaiting the final police investigation report. We’ll have to see what happens then. It seems Mallika’s wild days may be numbered.

 

Well the last couple posts about Mallika were drama free, so we knew somethign was bound to happen soon. Hansika Motwani, the lead role opposite Himesh Reshammiya in his film Aap Ka Suroorr: The Movie: Real Luv Story, has been referring to Mallika as ‘Aunty’. Of course this sort of drama is nothing new to Mallika. It started because Mallika didn’t want to share any screen space with Hansika. Hansika asked to be in the Mehbooba song but Mallika turned her down without a second thought about it. An insider said this:

During the Mehbooba shoot, Hansika was talking very loudly to a crewmember about Mallika. Everybody except her heard Hansika say, ‘ Mallika aunty!’ thank God Mallika was not nearby, else fireworks would have exploded that day!

It has also been said that they were rarely on set together nor even within arm’s length of one another. We’re sure Mallika intitiated the bad blood between them because that is what she is known for. We’ll have to see if any cat fights break out during the premiere or before then. Stay tuned…

 

The fish aren’t biting! Apparently no one is too interested in buying the gypsy outfit worn in the Mehbooba song from Himesh Reshammiya’s soon to be released film, Aap Ka Suroorr: The Movie, The Real Luv Story. The only bid has been for Rs 1,10,000 and that’s right above the minimum bid of one lakh allowed for the auction. Mallika must be dissapointed. We’ll have to see if the bids pick up before the release of the movie which is schedule for June 29th.

The beautiful Mallika Sherawat is auctioning off the costume that she wore in the song Mehbooba worn in Himesh Reshammiya’s Aap Kaa Surror: The Moviee—The Real Luv Story. The proceeds will be given to a charity of her choice. An inside source had this to say:

Mallika Sherawat plans to auction off the outfit on June 29, which is also the film’s release date. She is yet to decide which organization to donate the money to. Mallika may announce details on her website www.mallikasherawatwow.com.

Mallika Sherawat has been chosen by director/producer Bill Bannerman to be the lead role in his upcoming film, ‘Unveiled’. Bannerman searched high and low to find the perfect face for his movie about a muslim woman who has two husbands and a lover and the tribulations that sorround her. Bannerman said:

Behind the dark burkha , there lies a sexy, manipulative victim, whose life is in grave danger. But she is very dangerous too.

Mallika Sherawat’s less than stellar role as Kareena Kapoor’s tag along buddy in the film Jeena Sirf Merre Liye would not be complete without a little drama. Rivaling egos and swollen pride on set were even bigger than Mallika’s role in the movie. No one has direct quotes from the lovely actresses, but sources have said: “Mallika said ‘Bebo treated me like dirt. I was just a nobody during Jeena Sirf Tere Liye and she made me feel like dirt.’”

Another source claimed: “The vibes between the two actresses on the sets were cold.??

The two battling females, have incited a flame, which we will soon see the aftermath of.
