Lara Dutta and MTV in association with the US Consulate, joined hands to cause awareness for the fight against human trafficking. At a function held at the Taj Land’s End in Bandra, Mumbai, MTV ran a half an hour special documentary on the evils of human trafficking. MTV VJ Nikhil Chinnappa along with Lara, hosted the event which was held this past Tuesday evening.

Lara Dutta has been helping sister Cheryl work on launching her new collection line for some time now and finally she was able to present it at the Cypress in Mumbai. Lara came dressed in a corset designed by her very own sister. As soon as she had caught the crowd’s attention she confessed,

I have always admired Cheryl for her dress sense and I would sneak in her room to rob her clothes, as younger sisters always want to wear what their old sisters’ do.

It’s nice to see family members help each, but we only wish Cheryl was as good of looker as her sister Lara. Here are some more pics.

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai were in Toronto promoting their ‘Unforgettable Tour’, which was announced at the IIFA awards a few months ago.

The tour will kick start in Toronto in the Summer of 2008 and will feature a wide array of Bollywood big shots such as Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Lara Dutta, and Ritesh Deshmukh. There will also be concerts in Vancouver, New York, Los Angeles, London, Cairo, Sydney, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Salman Khan watched a special screening of David Dhawan’s film Partner with the underprivileged kids of Mumbai at the local Cinemax. Katrina Kaif, David Dhawan, Lara Dutta, and Rajpal Yadav also attended the show. A special appearance from Hollywood actress Sienna Miller also excited everyone on site. Sienna, who had just finished working on a Marigold with Salman Khan, was seen as always promoting an awareness for Globalcool, an aid helping to slow down global warming.

It has been reported that Lara Dutta and her long time boyfriend Kelly Dorjee are on the verge of a break-up. They have been seen and heard fighting constantly at their apartment in Bandra and often avoid each other at social events to keep things calm. They have been together for over 8 years, but all those years haven’t added up to the idea of marriage. Apparently, the reason behind all the calamity is Lara Dutta’s constant interaction and affection with other male celebs. Kelly has often asked her to take  it easy. Kelly hates to accompany Lara to a film set. But link- up rumor does affect him. They have often fought over it. They are very impulsive individuals. Earlier, they were always together at parties and award ceremonies. If Lara was busy shooting then Kelly would simply give the do a miss.

This relationship is on the rocks but after 8 years!? We wonder what the next move for the lovely Lara Dutta is, perhaps a real bollywood hunk is next on her plate.

The Unforgettable Tour was announced today by Wiz Craft International Entertainment, the organizers of IIFA Weekend. Today they released word of the huge world tour featuring: Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya, Abhishek Bachchan, Lara Dutta, Bipasha Basu and Ritesh Deshmukh. Also on hand were: Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Govinda, Sohail Khan and David Dhawan promoting their soon to be released film Partner. This tour will surely be a huge success with all the big names on the bill — we can’t wait and see what happens.

Many Bollywood stars were on hand for this year’s Femina Miss India 2007. The atmospehere was alive and exciting as Sarah Jane Dias won the Miss India Title. The runners up were: Puja Gupta and Pooja Chitgopekar. Here are some of the star filled pictures from the night:

Many celebrities were on hand Saturday at the Kingfisher Polo Tournament at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai. Sanjay Kapur’s kingfisher team won the overall tournament with Anna Singh presenting her new clothes selection. Many Bollywood celebs attended including Karisma Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, Katrina Kaif, Kim Sharma, and Lara Dutta.
