Om Books International in association with Radio Mirchi celebrated the success of national award winning author Anupama Chopra’s book ‘King of Bollywood: Shah Rukh Khan’ yesterday at the Taj Lands End in Mumbai.

Present at the event, along with Shah Rukh Khan and Anupama Chopra, were Gauri Khan, Jackie Shroff, Jimmy Shergill, Aadesh Shrivastava, Anu Malik, Karan Johar, Riya Sen, Juhi Chawla, Rajkumar Hirani, Tanuja Chandra, Dia Mirza, John Abraham, Subhash Ghai and Vidhu Vinod Chopra.

The first anniversary of filmmaker Subhash Ghai’s Whistling Woods International was celebrated last week. There was a special performance by the great drummer and percussionist Shivamani. Many celebs including Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff made their entrance to the event. Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff played the lead characters Ram Lakhan in Subhash Ghai’s movie Ram Lakhan.

Apparently Jackie Shroff screwed someone over in the movie industry and now a non-bailable warrant has been issued for his arrest. Not much is known about the case but Jackie did say:

There was some problem regarding a business deal of my old movie. The matter was in court but they are pulling it out now. The court has put up a stay on it.” He further adds,” Its just that my secretary and lawyer reached late at the court. They however, reached the court and the court has passed a stay order now.
