The Bobby Deol hit film, Nanhe Jaisalmer, has been the talk of the town recently. It seems that director Sameer Karnik has been accused by writer Nikhil Saini for ripping off his original script. The tribunal of writers association has ruled in favor of Nikhil Saini and a final decision is expected within a day or two. Besides a large payment among other things heading Nikhil’s way, this all means that Nanhe Jaisalmer will not be released on schedule. Here’s what Nikhil had to say,
Sameer Karnik has stabbed me in the back. I never thought that he would do something like this to me. Nanhe Jaisalmer is originally my script and screenplay. I used to know him very well as he had made Kyon…..Ho Gaya Na for Boneyji. I narrated the film to him in good faith but I never knew that he would make some cosmetic changes and make his film out of it. I just came to know about it when I saw the promos and read in the newspapers about the story of a child in awe of a star.
Sameer Karnik denies the allegations and claims that his film is based on a real life story of a child in Jaisalmer in Rajasthan and has nothing to do with Saini’s story. It seems as the the writer’s tribunal has made their decision. We will have to wait and see the outcome.

Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan will be starring togetherfor Ketan Desai’s yet–to-be titled film. It will be made under Ketan’s father, Manmohan Desai’s banner. The film will also mark the return of Ketan Desai as a director. There’s a lot of speculation on how things will go with Aishwarya and Salman’s past still humming in everyone’s ears. Here’s what a close friend to Salman had to say,
Salman and Ketan have been friends for a long time and have also worked together earlier in ‘ Yeh Hai Jalwa’ which Ketan had produced and David Dhawan directed. They have wanted to work together for a long time. So, when Ketan approached Salman, the latter immediately agreed to do the film, no questions asked. When Ketan told him that the film would also mark his return as director after a long gap, Salman was more than thrilled to be part of the film.
It looks as though Salman will do anything for an old friend. This will be an interesting spectacle to see unfold. It just so happens that the two also have another possible movie in the works, God Tussi Great Ho. Who knows Salman and Amitabh may just happen to get all buddy buddy after this experience.

Tanushree Dutta has been in the gym lately undergoing martial arts training from Peter Hann to prep her for her role in Sahil Khan’s upcoming action movie, Ramma –The Saviour. The movie will be filled with live animals and professional fighters from different countries like Talib from Qatar, Maow from Vietnam, and Alex from France. Here’s what Tanu had to comment,
I am scared and excited. I fear wild animals but it will be fun to shoot with them. To learn martial arts is another challenge. This role has something which I have not done so far. I wanted someone who looks sexy and dusky, but at the same time, identifies with the kids. I met up with Tanushree and she did not take long to say yes.
It sounds like this film will be a hit. It has all the makings of a blockbuster. A beautiful and voluptuous Bollywood bombshell kicking villains’ butts? Count us in!
