Here&#8217;s what Vinod had to say: I think this elaborate Indian event was Elizabeth’s theatrical dream. It was certainly not a serious attempt to honor our customs. In the end it was just nonsense. The magazine wanted a great show, so they could justify the big fee they were charged. I think it was blatant and cynical commercialism. I once thought Liz was a lovely, unspoiled woman, but now I see that she is a very hard person. It was important for her to get celebrity faces there. That’s what the Hello! deal was about.
